With over 20 years experience as a graphic designer, you might say my design life has been varied. I’ve worked in small studios, large corporations and as a solo freelancer for clients ranging from the academic, small business, automotive, healthcare and tech. I’ve created things like brand identities, books, websites, products, packaging and even a belt buckle!
I think design should be functional while taking opportunities to delight the user. I value collaboration, strategy and research before putting pen to paper. I consider myself an information organizer. And in case you couldn’t tell from my work, I appreciate a clean, simple aesthetic with lots of color!
I have a BFA from School of Visual Arts and an MFA from California Institute of Arts, both in graphic design.
Currently, I’m a freelance designer & illustrator. Previously, I worked as a designer and art director at Kaiser Permanente, Saputo Design, AdamsMorioka, Mattel and Disney among other places.
I also create surface design and illustration under the name Cynthia Jacquette Art & Design. Check it out here: cynthiajacquette.com
